I had bought an earlier version of this model which worked perfectly for 10 years until the on button stopped working. I had been so pleased with that microwave that I bought this one without even checking the reviews. After 9 months the microwave stopped turning off after the timer bell rang. The cancel button doesn't work do I have to unplug it. I am trying to reach the nearest service center which is 20 minutes away, but they don't pick up their phone. Skip this one.

Very cheaply made. Seemed like an ok buy especially since I don't use a microwave all that often. After 3 months it stopped working. The motor would work for 10 sec and then stop for 5 while the plate in the microwave is still rotating.

Our purpose for a microwave is warming up food and heating water for tea. This is perfect being a small size and more than powerful enough to cook if we needed to. Very happy with everything of the Sharp brand I have ever bought, this is a another great product.
